Mary was born and raised in North Brunswick, NJ, the third of six children to a multi-national family. She earned her degree at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY and spent the next 15 years in Luxury Hospitality Management working for Fortune 500 companies. The experience and knowledge she gained working in this sector has helped shape her leadership principles by understanding the uniqueness each individual holds and the power of strengthening relationships.
In 2014, she began her career as a Financial Advisor here in Tucson and enjoys every moment, gaining satisfaction as she helps people navigate through their financial goals and life's opportunities. As a lifelong learner, Mary earned her AIF® in 2018, her RICP® in 2019 and is two-thirds of the way through her TPCP® as of early 2026. Mary loves supporting her Oro Valley business community and was appointed as a board member on the Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce in January 2024 and now serves as Secretary.
Mary is married to Ethan Schulz, who retired as Chef/Partner at Flemings Steakhouse in 2016 and is a stay-at-home parent to their two tween/teen daughters, Stephanie & Brielle. Mary & her family enjoy cooking, traveling, mining for gems and creating memorable experiences together. Her favorite topics are Disney, Hawaii and fast cars.
