Mary was born and raised in North Brunswick, NJ, the third of six children to a multi-national family. She earned her degree at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY and spent the next 15 years in Luxury Hospitality Management working for Fortune 500 companies. The experience and knowledge she gained working in this sector has helped shape her leadership principles by understanding the uniqueness each individual holds and the power of strengthening relationships. In 2014, she began her career as a Financial Advisor here in Tucson and enjoys every moment, gaining satisfaction as she helps people navigate through their financial goals and life's opportunities.
Mary is married to Ethan Schulz, prior Chef/Partner at Flemings Steakhouse and they have two young daughters together, Stephanie & Brielle. Mary & her family enjoy cooking, traveling, mining for gems and creating memorable experiences together.
Colleen grew up back east, spending most of her childhood in Michigan and South Carolina. After finishing school in South Carolina, she moved to Atlanta and began her career. Colleen’s career spans 30 years and includes working as a commercial credit and financial analyst for a Fortune 500 Company, as a sales manager, and as a project manager. With her background in credit and finance, Colleen always valued the importance of managing both personal and business finances. She witnessed the often-serious results when money is not managed with an intentional plan.
Colleen and her husband Scott moved to Tucson in 2008, and after successful careers, she retired from the corporate world in 2016. Colleen followed her passion for helping others and teaching them the plan and the process to take control of their finances. She trained as a Ramsey Solutions Financial Master Coach with the Ramsey Solutions team in Nashville Tennessee. Colleen’s highest priority is to guide, equip, and encourage people to make the best money management decisions to improve their current financial situation, plan for, and secure their financial future and well-being.
Brooke Paz was born and raised in Tucson, AZ. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arizona (Go Wildcats!). Following her studies, she gained extensive knowledge of the Financial Services and Insurance Industry through years working at UBS Financial and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Brooke currently lives in Salt Lake City with her amazing husband Rick and their beautiful son Corey. She is studying for the SIE and Series 7 Exams as she aspires to learn and grow into a Financial Advisor role.

Braden joined Schulz Financial Group in April 2019 as our executive intern with the desire to learn how to help people pursue their financial goals. In the summer of 2020, he completed his licensing and holds a Series 7 and Series 66 with LPL Financial. A collegiate economics major at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, Braden's expected graduation date is April 2022.
He was an amazing competitive swimmer who specialized in the 100 Back and 200 Individual Medley. In 2015, he was the State Champion in the 200 IM representing Cholla High School and was named Tucson's Top High School Athletes of 2015-2016.
After graduating in 2017, Braden traveled to Denmark on a two-year mission with his church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In May of 2021 Braden married his wife Phoebe, a Utah native who met Braden while they were both missionaries in Denmark in 2017.
