Last year I officially became debt free, so now I can focus on building wealth. Currently, I am contributing up to the match in our company 401k in the Roth to fill my tax-free bucket in retirement. Outside of work, I am building up my emergency savings and our savings fund, which will be used to purchase a home. This will take me to the next step in growing my assets. I set up term life insurance so my family is protected while trying to achieve millionaire status. My next step to achieve this goal is to open a Roth IRA outside my employer plan. Keeping the ball rolling!
